Please welcome the following new members of the AW-Philadelphia Team:


Eric Crawford has joined AgustaWestland- Philadelphia as Regional Sales Manager focusing on the West-Central U.S. territory. He is a former U.S. Air Force pilot having piloted the C-9 and C-5 heavy transport aircraft. Eric is a graduate of the Air Force Academy with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He has additional experience in the field of finance. Eric presently is based in the Salt Lake City, Utah area and will soon be based at AW Philadelphia.




Roberto Di Procolo AW139 Product Support Engineer, comes to Agusta Westland-Philadelphia after spending one year at AgustaWestland-Italy. While in AW-Italy, he provided day-today support for all of the African, Asian and Far-East fleet. In addition, Roberto was involved with the customization and delivery of three AW139 (Long Nose) to the Japanese Coast Guard spending the last two months in Japan. Roberto has a Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering obtained at "Universita' Federico II di Napoli" specializing in Computational Fluid Dynamics. Immediately following, Roberto began his career with AgustaWestland.




Armond Gerome joined Agusta Westland - Philadelphia in March as Manager of Product Support Proposals. Armond has spent over 30 years in the Contract Management profession including 19 years with The Boeing Company- Rotorcraft Division as a Sr. Contracts & Pricing Representative, and 3 years as a Contracts Manager with Aerospace Display Systems in Hatfield, Pa. While at Boeing, Armond worked in Contracts & Pricing on all three of the company's major rotorcraft Weapon System platforms; the CH-47 Chinook, RAH-66 Comanche, and the V-22 Osprey. More recently, he worked in Boeing's Support Systems Group developing large support proposals for the Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey, which was deployed in mid- 2007, and the International Chinook Program. Armond has a Bachelor of Business Degree from Pennsylvania State University, a Master of Arts Degree in Program Administration from Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ, and also earned a Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) certificate from the National Contract Management Association.




Jorge Porras has joined AWPhiladelphia as Regional Sales Manager focusing on the countries of Chile, Argentina, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia. Jorge spent several years as an officer in the Chilean Air Force with following experience in sales and the last five years as Commercial Manager for the Cessna aircraft sales affiliate in Chile. He also holds a Masters In Business Administration. Jorge and his family reside in Santiago.




Pete Wagner started in May as Avionics Technical Representative for A109, A119 and AW139. Pete has over 28 years of aircraft avionics experience, with 8 of those years at AgustaWestland-Philadelphia. His prior positions include Avionics Technician in the US Air Force, Avionics Manager for Beechcraft, Cessna, Piper and Pilatus aircraft dealer/part 145 repair stations, and Avionics Technician/Lead for AgustaWestland-Philadelphia Completion Center. He is an A&P Mechanic and Instrument rated Pilot with over 1000 hours.
