Agusta Westland Philadelphia hosted an AW139 / A109 / A119 Operators Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona, on June 3 and 4. Over 70 people attended the conference representing 26 customers. The response was very positive from the market place, and we appreciated the participation of our customers.

The conference kicked off with a social event on Tuesday evening which was very well attended by all of our customers.

The conference was an all day event starting at 9am on Wednesday. AW personnel gave briefings in the morning session, a lunch was held for all operators, and the afternoon session was an open forum between the AW associates and our customers.

The conference closed with a Southwestern buffet held Wednesday evening.

The major issues discussed at the conference were the following:

  • AW139 Cockpit Windows
  • AW139 Baggage Compartment
  • AW139 Dampers
  • AW139/A109 Parts Availability
  • AW139/A109 Communication
  • A109 Support Of Legacy Models

    The response from those attending was very positive and customers want to see these conferences continued. The next conferences will be held in Mexico and Brazil during the September - October timeframe.
