Material Planner

Reports to: Materials Planning Manager

Description

Agusta Aerospace Corporation, an international helicopter manufacturer, has an immediate opening for a Material Planner. This position is based at the company headquarters in Philadelphia, PA.

Responsibilities:

• Document overall material need, including all codes, brands, and contact information necessary to process orders
• Work with Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Adjusts amounts for existing inventory and for orders of conventional sizes

Qualifications

Education: BA/BS

Experience: 2 years of experience in a related area

Skills – Required:

• Understand engineering documents and work closely with members of the engineering team

• Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field from high-tech manufacturing industry
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Skills – Preferred:

• Additional related and/or experience in aerospace
• BA/BS in area of specialty is highly desirable
